JOHN S. MARLOW, DIRECTOR, MAINTENANCE AND QUALITY ASSURANCE. Mr. Marlow is a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer with more than 32 years of maintenance and logistics support experience. Mr. Marlow holds a Bachelorette in Business and Master of Business Administration degree with a minor in Quality Management (QM) covering Quality Management, Quality Management and Productivity, Implementation of Quality Systems, and Continuous Quality Improvement. While on active duty Mr. Marlow maintained and supported equipment in mechanized Infantry, Cavalry, and Armor units equipped with vehicles from M113s to M2/3 Bradley’s and the M1 Abrams. Moreover, assignments to combat support and combat service support units with chemical equipment, transportation assets, assorted ground equipment, generators and material handling equipment strengthened his knowledge and he culminated his career as the Battalion Maintenance Officer of a divisional Main Support Battalion. Mr. Marlow’s experience also includes commercial fleet management, from acquisition to remarketing, and the necessary support operations to maintain and sustain a commercial fleets of all sizes. His assignments in fleet management included responsibilities for day-to-day operations in one of three National Maintenance Control Centers, procuring approximately $30M in products and services annually to maintain 205,000 leased vehicles. Mr. Marlow instituted QM theories and methodologies to implement changes in how tasks were planned, established, directed, and administered which positively impact the national policies and procedures for GSA fleet services. His military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (2), Army Commendation Medal (4) Army Achievement Medal (6).
